Ben Young’s beautiful layered glass sculptures

We know one thing for sure about Ben Young. He loves the sea. This is reflected in most of his layered glass sculptures which are all spectacular. The main theme of the sculptures is either the sea, shapes, or life.

Apparently Ben who currently resides in Sydney, Australia, has been making glass sculptures for more than 10 years but made a boom recently with his amazing work on layered glass sculptures which portray different shapes, mostly of the sea. Depending on how you look at them, you may get feelings of solitude and desolation, or feelings of serenity and tranquility. We, lazy penguins love the sea so this sculptures remind us of home where plenty of fish swim!

Ben is also open for collaborations and commissioned pieces. Perhaps we should get him to make a lazy penguin layered glass sculpture!
