The Door to Hell: Burning Gas Crater in the Karakum Desert

I know you wonder the same thing as me – Where is Hell and Paradise? Today we are going to show you where the first part of the question is located. It is located in Turkmenistan fellow Lazy Penguins (hehe just joking, I wish I knew). A distinct crater unceasingly burning more than 40 years is based in Karakum desert, Turkmenistan. Many people know the particular gate but not many are courageous enough to go there.

Diameter of the crater = 69 m

Depth of the crater = 30 m

According to Wikipedia: The crater is a popular tourist attraction. In the past five years 50,000 tourists have visited the site. The gas crater has a total area of 5,350 m2, the size of an American football field. The surrounding area is also popular for wild desert camping.
