Meerkats are the little animals that you’ll see standing upright in the desert, also known as Suricates. You’ll usually see groups of them walking on all fours and suddenly stopping to stand on two legs to observe what’s going on in the distance.
This is part of the Meerkat’s charm and what makes them so cute beside their physical appearance. They are long but often curl up when sitting down.
They always work together in number like a community and can almost always be found in the desert. The purpose of their upright stand position is to stay on lookout and alert for predators.
What do you think about our suricate friends fellow lazy penguins?
