Ellinikon used to be the International Airport of Greece and airport of Athens. However, when the new airport was finished in 2001, Ellinikon was abandoned.
Now it remains in ruins with old non-functional stripped and abandoned planes are well as empty messy halls and offices.
There are many people in the world who love to discover and explore abandoned places and this could very well be one of them.
After Eleftherios Venizelos, the current international airport of Greece, was completed for the Olympics that took place there, the old one become obsolete and ended up the way we see it today.
