As you may be aware of, every year there are many wildfires in California. This happens because of the climate and the drought. It’s a very terrifying series of incidents but today we can present something good that has come out of it. We’re talking about Stuart Palley, the young photographer from Los Angeles who has been taking long exposure photographs of the wildfires.
The shots taken are all incredibly beautiful and at the same time scary when we realise what they portray. He fittingly named the project Terra Flamma, and has been doing this for over a year. It’s amazing to see how the fierce flames dance as they scar the land in the middle of the night under the starry sky. They glow and flicker but devastation is all they live behind. We are very grateful to the artist for allowing the world to experience what should otherwise be avoided at all costs.

Terra Flamma by Stuart Palley
While marvelous for the eyes, ultimately dangerous and a struggle for those that have to face it.
