Elli Beach

Very popular beach, located in Rhodes city, next to the Aquarium and the Casino. Its long, sandy coastline is equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas and the sea is clear and ideal for swimming or water sports. Nearby there are many hotels and taverns where you can have amazing lunch and dinner with typical local food.

The beach of Ixia

Located just outside the city of Rhodes, the beach of Ixia is a long and narrow sandy beach mixed with stones, mostly equipped with deck chairs and umbrellas. Here there is always a constant wind, which makes the beach an ideal place for surfing and windsurfing, you can rent equipment directly in the various kiosks on the beach. Behind the beach there are numerous restaurants and hotels.

The beach of Agathi

The beach of Agathi is located on the southeast coast of Rhodes, near the village of Charaki. Set in a bay, the beach is made up of soft golden sand, and its waters are clear and blue. The calm, clear, shallow sea with sandy seabeds is ideal for swimming. On the beach there are areas equipped with umbrellas, sunbeds and showers, in addition to the presence of three where you can have lunch or buy an ice cream. In the nearby village of Haraki there is a long pebble beach, very quiet and with few people.

Anthony Quinn’s beach

Located just south of Faliraki, Ladiko Beach (better known as Anthony Quinn Beach) is a small but beautiful beach made up of a mixture of sand and gravel and nestled among lushly vegetated hills. Its turquoise and transparent sea is dotted with numerous reefs from different reefs, populated by numerous schools of fish. An ideal place for snorkelling, but also just for swimming, thanks to the presence of shallow and sandy bottoms. The beach is equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas: given the large influx of people, you should come here early in the morning to be sure to find a place and enjoy a bit ‘of tranquillity.

The beach of Kolymbia

South of Afandou lies the beach of Kolymbia, renowned for its luxurious hotels. Its beach is situated on a wide, golden sandy coastline and surrounded by the green gardens of the Atlantica Imperial Resort. The beach of Tsambika

Located at the foot of the monastery of the same name, the beach of Tsambika is an expanse of golden sand, set between imposing mountains. This is certainly one of the most beautiful beaches in Rhodes thanks to its calm and warm waters. At the end of the beach you can find quieter spaces, near a large boulder with the Greek flag painted on it. Here you can practice many water as well as playing on the inflatables in the water. Lindos beach is definitely one of the most famous beaches in Rhodes. The sand is soft and golden, and the sea is always calm and of an intense turquoise colour. The beach is equipped with deckchairs and umbrellas and is always crowded, especially for families with children, thanks to its proximity to the village of Lindos and the presence of hotels and tourist facilities.

The beach of Prassonissi

The beach of Prassonissi (or “Prasonisi”) is located at the southern end of the island. Consisting of two long sandy coasts that join together to connect a small island, the beach of Prassonissi is a true paradise for surfers. During the summer season, the Meltemi blow here, constant winds from the north that make it the ideal place to practice water sports, such as windsurfing and kitesurfing. Despite the strong wind, on the beach you can find quiet corners and with calm and crystal clear waters, although they are often very cold. On the beach there are several kiosks where you can rent equipment for surfing and windsurfing (Prasonisi Surf Center), as well as some parking for campers where camping is allowed free. Near the beach there is a small village where there are some taverns, apartments for rent or hotels

The town of Lindos is one of the most beautiful places in Rhodes and is a perfect solution for staying on the island. If you want more peace and quiet, you can choose Kolymbia, halfway between Rhodes and Lindos. If you want absolute peace of mind, choose the western part of the island instead.
