Maryland is one of the United States in the Mid-Atlantic region. It’s a fairly small state with a big part of it being washed by the Atlantic Ocean. Thanks to that it has a lot of gorgeous beaches along its shores and is the reason it’s also known as the Chesapeake Bay State.
However, Maryland has a lot of diverse landscapes to be proud of besides its beaches. Some of those belong to its beautiful state parks and its farmlands.
