Let’s grab a beer and relax in the Seagaia Ocean Dome, the world’s largest indoor beach and a modern marvel that was taken from us too soon. The place opened in Japan, in 1993 and unfortunately closed again in 2007. The reason of shutting it? Probably because it was too goddamn awesome.
Seagaia Ocean Dome measured:
- 984 feet long
- 328 feet wide
The dome also featured:
- retractable roof
- fake flame-spitting volcano
- artificial sand and palm trees
- man-made waves

Fact: the sky was always BLUE there!
