The latest statistics show that less than half of Americans hold a passport. If you’re one of them, an impulsive romantic getaway out of the country may not be a feasible option, but there are lots of fabulous destinations closer to home that make for an unforgettable escape with the one you love.

Colorado Springs, Colorado

For those who recently purchased one of the Colorado Springs townhouses, condos or homes and want to enjoy a romantic “staycation” that doesn’t require a flight or a long drive, you’re in luck.
