In a recent survey it was discovered that bison are one of the most popular animal species in the world. Bison are often also called Buffalo, however they are very different from the “true” buffalo.
Today we’re taking a look at this beautiful animal that roams the river valleys and plains of North America and Europe. About a century ago bison had almost gone extinct due to being hunted down. Thankfully things have changes since then and right now they’re not endangered.
One thing worth knowing about bison is that they can be very unpredictable. Most of the time they appear docile and peaceful but at any moment they might try to attack anything for no obvious reason. Quite the temperament if you ask us!
