Realistic 3D Goldfish Paintings By Riusuke Fukahori

What we’re going to present today is a very unusual method to create very incredible works of art. We’re talking about the 3 Dimensional Fish Paintings by Riusuke Fukahori. Riusuke is a Japanese artist who has created many 3D fish paintings through his project called Resin Works. What he does is create many layers for the painting by using resins. He paints even layer individually before adding another layer. This is what gives birth to the feeling that the fish is 3D, as if it was captured within the resin.

Although the work is amazing, it’s also quite frustrating for us, lazy penguins. As you know we love eating fish, and this artist’s work so closely resembles real fish that it’s confusing!

All jokes aside though, here are some examples of his work. Doesn’t it look as if the fish used to be alive not too long ago?

Here you can see the artist in the middle of playing a single of the layers of resin. This is to indicate that there’s still a lot more to do until this specific piece is finished.
