Scotland’s Fattest Hedgehog Refuses to Go Back to Nature

This might really be old news for you fellow Lazy Penguins because it happened two years ago (around May, 2014) but nevertheless it is very funny and we thought of giving it another go 😉 Edinburgh (its name, not the city), Scotland’s fattest hedgehog, refused to return to the wild because she loves home food so much (same with the Lazy Penguins). The awesome mammal made the headlines across the UK and worldwide after hoping on the scales and astonishingly weighing 2.3kgs (0.362188 stones). We are speaking about a hedgehog guys!!!

Sandy Boyd, the guy who runs the Wormit hedgehog rescue center in Fife, Scotland, holds our awesome Edinburgh attempted without any result to get her to return to the wild.

Sandy (Charity boss Sandy Boyd) said: “Edinburgh is staying in one of the boxes we have for wild hogs in the garden.

“We will have to restrict the mealworms again. It’s likely she’s going to be sticking around.”
