The Unique Marine Iguanas Of The Galápagos Islands

So almost everyone has heard of and seen Iguanas that people tend to keep as pets. However, did you know there are also Marine Iguanas that love to swim and live on the beach?

Native only to the Galápagos Islands, these exotic animals can be found in big numbers sunbathing on one of the beautiful beaches of the islands. They are a true marine reptile and can dive pretty deep into the water.

They usually go into the sea to find food. They spend the rest of the time on the beach as the water is too cold for them and they can only be in it for limited time.

What do you think about our beach loving friends fellow lazy penguins?
