Nowadays, while you are traveling it is very easy for you to take an HD photo and upload it on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and so on… Our smart phones have (almost) the same power with a pro camera (apart from the focus part), and with the 4G connectivity we can upload and send them to our friends/family instantly.
Things have been like that in the past though – we used to have paper printed postcards where travellers used to buy them and share them with their loved ones (in order to share the experience).
