If we were asked to define Denmark with one word we’d say water. Surround by it in almost every direction and filled with charming rivers and canals, water is prevailing element in Denmark.
It is also what makes the country so beautiful. Its beaches are a marvel for the eyes and along its coast you’ll find national parks, dunes and a lot of lighthouse. Some of them are considered World Heritage Sites by UNESCO and places of outstanding beauty.
The rivers run deep within the country all the way to the magical capital Copenhagen where people enjoy riding boats within its canals as they discover the enchanting city. From its cliffs, to its valleys and its island, Denmark is a treat and today we’re taking a look at the most fairy tale places in it.
