Thailand (/ˈtaɪlænd/ TY-land or /ˈtaɪlənd/ TY-lənd; Thai: ประเทศไทย, rtgs: Prathet Thai) is a wonderful country; the friendly gateway to the Asian exoticism. It has good tourist infrastructure, many interesting things to see, great beaches, fine dining places, historic ruins, jungle mountains, large luxury hotels reasonably priced, cheap accommodation for backpackers and friendly people who seem to be always smiling.
Apart from the beautiful and unique temples in Bangkok and other cities, the country has places that look like they are taken out of fairytales.
