We lazy penguins love competitions (all sorts of them). Japanese chalkboard maker Nichigaku observed that it has been increasingly popular trend amongst students in Japan.
At the start of 2015 there was hosted a “Blackboard Art contest” generating 50 submissions from 249 students in Japan.
The first place winning the entry was awarded gift certificates up to 100,000 yen ($820) in value.
