There are certainly many unique breeds of chicken in the world and one of the them are the fluffy Silkie.
Silkie are practically balls of fluff with a beak poking out. They are very unusual but also very adorable. The reason for their appearance is the lack of barbicels which usually connects the plumage in the way necessary to form the feathers.
However, since they don’t have that their plumage appears loose and fluffy and is said to feel like silky, thus the name!
