The Mesmerizing Beauty Of Peacocks

Peacocks, also known as peafowl, are a species of birds known for their iridescent plumage and their highly elongated feathers that look like eyes. When the peacock “fans” its tail, the eyes form a huge circle behind the peacock which is one of the most astonishing things one can see.

Another beautiful characteristic of peacocks is the crest on top of their head with is part of both male and female peacocks. Finally, their colourful plumage makes them seem as if they’re royalty among the birds.

The reason peacocks fan out their eyespot tail plumage is to attract another peacock. It is truly a very mesmerizing sight!
