Oscar (a wonderful dog) recently claimed the title of the animal kingdom’s most intrepid explorer after going around the world and visiting very famous landmarks. Hi route around the globe includes five continents – 29 countries (while stopping and staying in everyplace from Taj Mahal to the Eiffel Tower).
Joanne Lefson rescued Oscar five years ago from a South African kennel. The pair began their journey in May 2010 in order to inspire people from around the world, collect money and help our canine friends (who live on the streets). The trip (6 months) costed £250,000 which Joanne received by selling her home (sheltered 15000 dogs at more than 50 charity-run rescue centres). “H/T”: designyoutrust
