Sockington or Socks (socks) is a normal-looking cat that, however, has about a million and a half followers on Twitter and its own website. The story of this black and white feline began at a subway stop on the outskirts of Boston where Sockington was prowling in search of someone to feed him. After finding several foster homes, Socks the cat finally found his permanent home with Jason Scott, responsible for his fame on the Internet and on his social networks. Scott’s delicate video creations have launched this “normal” feline to digital fame, a success that his owner uses to raise funds for the adoption of other cats and dogs that, like Socks before, need a home.
