Formentera
Formentera is the smallest of Spain’s Balearic Islands, and a popular daytrip from its bigger and noisier neighbor, Ibiza. The long stretches of beach (such as Playa Illetes) and rippling turquoise waters are probably the island’s main attraction, along with its relaxing atmosphere. There are very few buildings on the island, which only adds to the peaceful spirit. In between enjoying long, sunny walks take time to rest and eat at one of the island’s rustic beach bars.
