Bruno Catalano is the French Sculptor and Artist responsible for the bronze sculptures around Marseilles.
The striking feature that make these sculptures so special is that they appear to be missing part of themselves. It is as if only few parts of their body are visible and the rest are lost.
The project is called “The Voyagers” and the sculptures can be found throughout Marseilles. There is a certain dramatic effect that follows them and what is also incredible is the way they are posing, sometimes making you wonder how they can stand up with such emptiness mostly in the middle of their bodies.
