Plastic pollution includes the mass accumulation of plastic products in the environment that negatively affects wildlife, wildlife habitat, or us (humans). Below you will see some amazing yet disturbing sculptures that will help us understand the overuse of plastic and its consequences. All the sculptures were created by plastic materials found in sea/shore (plastic that we call beach waste).
Washed Ashore (Oregon-based organization) created most of the sculptures below and Xandi Kreuzeder created the “Tiger Shark” and “Roxy Mermaid.
