Who says baby elephants don’t deserve love too!? In our opinion, they are absolutely adorable as babies with their tiny trunks and big ears. Today we’re taking a look at the cutest baby elephants.
Baby elephants which are technically called calves, weigh about 120 kg when they are born so they’re quite heavy and adorable. Baby elephants are not able to control their trunks during their first months so it’s easy for them to trip on it while trying to walk.
They spent the first 3 years of their lives depending on their mother and after that as part of the herd. When a new calf is born, the whole herd gathers around it, touching it with their trunks. It is truly the centre of attention.
