Making waves during her debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival, the second model from Sanlorenzo’s SX line SX76 is the ideal superyacht for those looking to enjoy life out on the open waters with families and friends. A crossover between an explorer yacht and flybridge, the SX76 features an open layout that flows seamlessly from bow to stern while retaining all the key features of her larger sister, the SX88.
The Sanlorenzo SX76
Measuring 23.75 metres in length, the SX76 features a bold, angular exterior design and an interior layout by leading Studio Zuccon International Project. Based on her sister’s SX88 design, the SX76 has high bowlines that dip towards the stern that give the SX76 a powerful, robust and almost aggressive profile. The spacious, open interior design is unique among her class, with a single helm on the flybridge rather than another one in the forward section of the main deck. With this layout, people onboard can easily flow from the open kitchen to the dining space into the living area and out into the aft main deck seating area outside. Large windows on each side of the deck flood the space with natural light while offering stunning views of the surroundings. Renowned Italian designer Piero Lissoni created a special interior design, which includes a neutral colour scheme that enhances the welcoming, relaxing and social atmosphere on board. The windows add to the warm interior, creating a harmonious balance between the indoor and outdoor spaces, while the stunning sculptural staircase that connects all three decks further adds to the social aspect of her design.
The SX76 can comfortably accommodate up to eight guests in three beautifully appointed staterooms and a full-beam master’s suite located in the centre of the lower deck, depending on the interior layout. The crew quarters are located behind the master’s suite and offer direct access to the engine room. Her outdoor spaces have also been created with socialising and entertaining in mind. The main deck’s foredeck features sun beds that transform into a shaded al-fresco dining space, while the beach club aft has a platform that can extend to over 18 square metres. The ideal area for lounging under the sun or hosting, the transom can also be used to house a tender or jet ski when not in use.
The SX76 is powered by twin Volvo Penta IPS3 1200 Diesel engines, giving her a top speed of 22 knots. A combination of the classic motor yacht with a flybridge and explorer yachts, the SX range (SX76/SX88/SX112) stems from a concept by Luca Santella, who favours the use and living of yachts at sea. Conceived for nautical lovers, the SX76 is the perfect crossover superyacht from Sanlorenzo for families ready for adventure. Crafting tailor-made superyachts for more than 60 years, the SX line from Sanlorenzo remains one of its most popular to date, with the SX76 in high demand.
