We have seen a lot of things diving into the stratosphere – but dogs (well a stuffed one)? Yes, it happened my lazy friends. In England, Sam the Dog was sent where no stuffed animal has gone before.
In Morecambe in northwest England, both teachers and pupils at an elementary school strapped the white fluffy school mascot to a high-altitude helium balloon and did launch him from a hotel roof. After rising up for a while the balloon burst and our little Sam disappeared (they found the camera and the GPS but no sign of our Sam 🙁 ).
